How to win
We are looking for people willing to embrace the uncomfortable task of telling their own story - putting their voice and face into a film. We are looking for the audacious growth-minded filmmakers - those that are willing to make a faith based move for themselves, for the impact they will have on others, and for the hope of potentially being rewarded as the winner of this contest.
This contest is open ended, but we have a few things that will help guide you to making a prize-winning film about your story:

Notice that filmmaking and editing quality is not a judging criteria - this competition is about creating a real story and being authentic.

What are the rules FOR THE FILM?
1. Video must be between 2-6 minutes in length.
2. Video must be about yourself, your life, or your relationship with someone or something

Come on, have a little faith in us! We've partnered with Promise Mountain, an elite micro-wedding and elopement planning company that constantly has weddings around the world. Serving couples worldwide, selecting a lucky couple to pair with a lucky videographer will not be hard. We've made sure to curate this process extremely well to give you the best possible experience if you win the elopement!

THE POWER OF TELLING YOUR OWN STORY
Telling your own story is uncomfortable - that which has been locked inside your mind, those memories only remembered on your own accord, manifest to the world... why do it?
As humans, we are natural creators - while telling other's stories comes easy, creating a story from our own lives can be difficult, yet so worth it. So often our own perception of ourselves are defined by how we think others view us.
Over the past 6 months I've been working on learning to flex this exact muscle - it's been a faith based moved to push past that discomfort of narrating and storytelling my own life.
As humans, we are natural creators - while telling other's stories comes easy, creating a story from our own lives can be difficult, yet so worth it. So often our own perception of ourselves are defined by how we think others view us.

By doing so, I"ve seen others step out in faith and begin to document their own lives. The butterfly effect of telling your own story is insane, but moreover, what you learn from this experience will be worth its wait in gold. You will begin to see beautiful storytelling connections in your own life, you'll learn to more intentionally tell others stories, and you'll gain confidence that there is grandeur in the life you are living.
By doing so, I"ve seen others step out in faith and begin to document their own lives. Your story is worth being told, whether it's about your relationship with your dog, your pregnant wife, or even about how annoyed you are with the day to day - offering your experiences up to the world to see evokes the same impact as those great novels that line our shelves - stories of old, stories of others. You are no different than them.
